1. DO NOT Show up at the Facility One Hour Before Your Game Begins

All courts will OPEN 20 minutes prior to first game at that FACILITY (15 mins prior on all others). Please make sure to not arrive prior as COVID HAS CHANGED ALL OUR GUIDELINES. There are specific capacities which we will adhere to, only 2 teams permitted at a time. Most importantly there is a process to entering the facility. Please inform your families to not show up an hour before the tip, they will not be allowed inside until the gym opens (even if for an emergency restroom need), these are gym guidelines that we do enforce.

2. Waiting to be allowed into the Facility

Teams that DO NOT play the 1st game of the day are not allowed to enter NRCA any earlier than 15 minutes prior to their scheduled game. This allows for the game being held ahead to vacate, be escorted out a separate exit and the benches/bleachers to be sanitized and disinfected. All waiting teams will be required to wait outside in specially marked social distancing spots BY TEAM. We are not able to modify to allow people inside and provide any special circumstances even if weather is poor.

There will be 4 lines outside the Main Entrance (under the arch) and 2 lines outside the Elementary School Gym Entrance. The entry Doors will be blocked, and only opened as your designated gym court is READY for you to enter. Please prepare accordingly for any rain or cooler weather as there are no exceptions to this rule. The door will be opened by a staff member who will then inform by announcement the team(s) that are permitted to enter. Please note, because this is a common entrance for two different gyms, teams allowed to enter will very likely occur at different time periods.

3. Entering the Facility

Upon entering NRCA, it is REQUIRED that each person; player, spectator or coach be wearing a mask. Once players reach the playing court, and step onto the court, they may remove their mask. Coaches are REQUIRED to keep their masks or facial coverings on at ALL times, including when they are coaching in a game. All spectators are REQUIRED to keep their masks on at ALL TIMES until they depart the building.

Teams and Coaches are permitted to enter first. When adults are allowed to enter, we are able to allow 8 in at a time, who would then proceed to the gate attendant. Once those 8 depart the common gate area, then an additional 8 would be allowed to enter, etc. It is a very fast process as we move spectators in quickly. At that location they will be purchasing their access pass (day or weekend). If you are in need of any Water or Snack, or wish to purchase a t-shirt, this would be the One and Only opportunity for you to purchase. Once you proceed past the front gate, you will not be permitted to return.

Each person will have their temperature taken by a professional and advanced thermal reader at its permanent location on a tripod. You will hold your wrist over the “eye” of the reader, a reading will be quickly displayed. This is a very accurate and expedited way to allow many individuals to enter. No one is allowed into the facility if a reading is at 100 degrees. An alarm sounds and the individual is not permitted to enter. This is required for each time you enter the building, if you enter 3 different times, your temperature will be taken 3 times.

*** Only those families and guests affiliated with the players may attend the games. In other words, if you happen to be from an organization with multiple teams playing, certainly it is understandable you would like to attend and support them. Unfortunately, in this new COVID era of tournaments, that WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. To maintain our number per court that we are allowed to have, no players, coaches or similar from other teams will be permitted to re-enter the venue and attend another game that does not DIRECTLY INVOLVE THEM.

We will have Uniformed Police on site at all times of the event.

4. Proceeding to the Court

When you enter the facility, this is also your ONE AND ONLY opportunity to utilize the bathroom/restrooms. As previously mentioned above, we have one directional traffic. Should an emergency occur, and a bathroom visit be necessary, all individuals would be REQUIRED to exit the gym and building and return to the main gate entrance to gain access.

5. Inside the Gym

Inside the Gym, you will sit in specially IDENTIFIED KNIGHT’S HEAD LOGOS on the Bleachers. These logos are carefully placed 6 feet apart. Of course, families may sit together, but others must carefully distance themselves as reflected above.

6. At Game Completion

There are no handshakes, no post game discussion AT ANY TIME. You are required to quickly vacate, led by the Gym Monitor to the assigned Exit Door for that court. We are under an extremely tight time constraint and the gym is disinfected AFTER EACH GAME.

Each court bleachers, benches, scorers table and common areas are fogged with our COVID disinfectant immediately following your game. Therefore, as previously mentioned, you are required to immediately depart the facility. It is FOR YOUR SAFETY that you, your team and all spectators immediately depart following the final second of the contest as the foggers will be immediately utilized to prepare for the next game in that gym.
